World Wide Views on Global Warming is a global project to foster public discussion on the issues of climate change which started with a series of mini conferences held on the same day (Saturday 26th September 2009) around the world.
But this was no ordinary talk fest - all the conferences were linked on the day via the internet to enable organisers to tally up the participant's opinions using a voting process. You can see the world wide results and compare the opinions of different countries by visiting the nations. This is the first-ever global project of this kind and will be the major opportunity for citizens from around the world to voice their opinions to world leaders before they deliberate on these crucial issues in Copenhagen, Denmark in December 2009.
There were 39 Nations represented in World Wide Views including all the major players in climate change politics and many of the world's most populous What is World Wide Views on Global Warming
